Killer Muffin Alert! ~ [Harrisburg, PA – Food Photographer]

Okay tummies, here’s an incoming killer muffin alert!  So let me backup a minute to earlier this morning.  I started off with simple chores which led to my cleaning out our pantry, which has become our afternoon stomping grounds for everything snack related. I had a box of Kodiak Cakes Flapjack & Waffle mix which we had tried and just weren’t super thrilled with.  No offense to the company because they are packed with the healthier ingredients towards which I tend to gravitate.  But I found the pancakes to be a little dry and not quite sweet enough.  I was in power cleaning mode so I was just about ready to toss the remaining 2 cups of pancake mix when it dawned on me that maybe, just maybe, I could use the leftover mix in some sort of baked good recipe.  I hate waste and try to use up whatever I can, whenever I can.  So instead of repurposed furniture, it’s like repurposed recipes. With a glimmer of hope, I took a quick glance at the box and voila! On the side of the box was a simple recipe for Superfood Pumpkin Muffins.  And they looked pretty good…  So fast-forward three hours.  I have since made these super easy muffins, tasted them, photographed them, have NOT finished my pantry, and am sitting here blogging about these really, really, really good muffins that will now become a staple in my home.  Who knew????  Oh, and I will attach the link to the mix below.  I dare you to give it a try and don’t forget to let me know how you like them.  These yummies will not disappoint!  Oh, and I did modify the recipe a tad.  I sprinkled some raw sugar on the tops while they were still warm. It added just a little crunch of sweetness?!?!

Holidays in the Orchard – [Harrisburg, PA – Family Photographer]

I love this time of the year!  The beautiful temps, the fallen leaves, and the smells of the Christmas holiday in the air.  It’s also a fleeting time for holiday sessions which is why it has taken me so long to post on my blog.  So I’ll start with this beautiful family because they’ve been so patiently waiting for a sneak peek from their recent session.  Enjoy this Thanksgiving weekend!  And it goes without saying that I am so incredibly blessed and eternally thankful for the amazing clients I have! God bless!

Some of my favorites from Owen’s senior session last week.  Such a great young man – I was so happy to do this session for him and his family.  Enjoy!

Horse Showing with Olivia

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take some photos of a dear little friend of mine while she competed at a local horse show.  I am and always have been a lover of the equestrian world and if you see me at a horse show, you know I’m in my happy place.  I was delighted to meet up with Livy yesterday to snap some pictures of her and her buddy Pancake.  It was a perfect day for a horse show!  Congratulations Liv on your Reserve Championship!
