Boutique School Portraits and How They Work:
- Prior to picture day, the school will provide class rosters in a CSV excel file format to Christine Chardo Photography. In addition, a daily classroom schedule, a map of the school, and any special instructions will be provided to CCP.
- An announcement and one or two reminders will be emailed to the school contact person for forwarding to the school families. This will help to encourage participation in the program.
- All equipment needed for photo day will be provided by Christine Chardo Photography. One or two parent volunteers may be needed to assist with the students on picture day. This will be arranged prior to picture day.
- My Boutique School Portrait proofing and ordering process is a 100% online process. There are no upfront order forms or handling of money on picture day. Each family will be linked to a password protected online gallery when all the images are ready for viewing. Each child will have at least 3-5 images from which to choose, in a gallery created individually for each family. For this reason, retakes will not be offered.
- All packaged orders will be delivered directly to the school for easy distribution. Larger wall prints can be mailed directly to the home for an additional shipping charge to ensure safe delivery of prints (the bus ride home can be a scary place for larger wall prints – LOL!)
- A complimentary 5×7 class photo will be included with every collection that is purchased. Additional class photos can be purchased at an additional price.
- Each school will be provided with high resolution files of the images which can be used for yearbooks, etc.
- All staff/faculty members who have their portrait taken will receive a complimentary 5×7 print.
- Service items for the school such as student and teacher ID cards and class composites are available at an additional charge to the school.
Where and when will portraits be taken?
Portraits can be taken in any room that contains a window with natural light. A large space is not necessarily needed for my backdrop setup. Picture day can be scheduled at any time during the academic school year.
How long does the entire process take?
Families will receive their online galleries within 2-3 weeks from the day pictures are taken. Galleries will be available for online ordering for 7 days, and orders will be delivered to the school within 3-4 weeks following.
What is the cost?
There is no upfront cost to the school or to the families, and Christine Chardo Photography will donate 10% of the total gross sales from that day back to the school. Prices are competitive and there is a variety of collections and a la carte products to fit everyone’s needs.
